Hi Everyone. Just popping in and showing the different looks my hair can have. This morning I cowashed with Tressemme Naturals and rinsed a little conditioner but kept most of it in. I used about a 2 quarter size amounts of Curl Junkie's Pattern pusha and diffused on cool until hair didn't drip any longer.
Today I used mostly conditioner basically shook my hair , and scrunched the pattern pusha in my hair to eliminate frizz a bit. I think my hair looks alot fluffier and is definitely nice and soft. I think when my hair really transitions for this curly girl method that I will be frizz free and curlicious for sure.
Last Friday and Saturday Curl Junkie had a sale for 20% off and this is what I got!
That Pattern Pusha is a 16oz container with a pump and I am loving it.
- WHAT'S IN IT:
- Ingredients: Water, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Dehydroxanthan Gum, Corn Starch Modified, Xanthan Gum, Ulmus Fulva (Slippery Elm Bark) Extract, Camelia Sinensis (Green Tea) Leaf Extract, Panthenol, Tocopheryl Acetate, Propylene Glycol, Diazolidinyl Urea, Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate, Fragrance, Tetrasodium EDTA.
* Naturally derived polymers from Corn/Vegetable sources help fight high humidity or lack thereof.* Panthenol - is said to impart long lasting moisturization and increase the strength of the hair shaft. It conditions hair without build-up and reduces damage from split ends.
KEY INGREDIENTS
* Tocopheryl Acetate (Vit. E) - Antioxidant with wonderful moisturizing and shine enhancing properties.
* Herbal extracts - helps to add shine and smooth frizz. -
WHAT IS IT?: a medium-thick, yet slippery, naturally derived gel formulated for hair with waves, curls and coils...helps to enhance/define all patterns!
HOW TO USE IT: If scrunched into the hair it helps to give your hair definition, volume and bounce, and when smoothed into hair it can help stretch out the curls you have and add weight to hair to help elongate and define curls (Don't over-apply...less is more!). Be sure to evenly apply. For best hold, try diffusing hair slightly to lock in lasting, non-crunchy hold.
WHO NEEDS IT: All hair types. For fine hair use less and smooth/scrunch/blot into hair. For thicker, curlier/coily hair use more and smooth through hair thoroughly with fingers and blot hair (best if not used with a leave-in). Use diffuser to stretch hair slightly if more length is desired.
I am using it mostly with the Tressemme Naturals and the CJ Smoothing Lotion . The Beauticurls and Smoothing lotion shown are my stock but not opened.
The Tressemme Naturals is such a wonderful detangler and softener and all for under $5. I like the way it makes my hair feel wet and when it dries it has the same characteristics.
This past Sunday I did finger coils!
finger coils still wet |
Not a bad job! |
Not a bad job on the finger coils. I used some CJ Smoothing Lotion leave in and KBB creamylicious to set these coils. They were shiny and springy. I wore them for a couple of days and decided to take them down and go back to my Curly Style.
Look how smooth and shiny the hair is! |
I wanted to follow this up with a bit of a texture shot. This shot is from a few days ago.
Oh BTW .... Got me an Iphone 4S and Loving it! I will be doing quick videos and maybe even a tutorial on how I achieve my curly look.
Have a Blessed Day!
Very nice

ReplyDeleteLove the curls and the coils! Thanks for reviewing Tresemme Naturals. I like their conditioners and haven't tried the natural line yet. For that price I gotta put it on the shopping list.
